Michael Madsen
Michael and Anna served our youth ministry for eight years, starting in July of 2015 and ending in June 2023. They were married in the summer of 2014 and almost immediately went to YWAM together and then a missions trip to the Philippines. They have three children Genevive, and Illa, and Leland and are expecting their fourth baby in June 2023.
Under their leadership, students were challenged to be generous by giving to Speed The Light. Michael was and continues to be an example of sacrifice in his own stretching generosity using his own mechanical skillset. WestPointe teenagers elevated themselves as leaders in the state of Minnesota as a top giving church over multiple years! Our church’s heart is generous and for the nations. Our students caught this passion through Michael and Anna’s inspiration. Over their eight years of service, Journey Youth gave over $290,000 to Speed The Light (STL), funding many projects to advance the Gospel’s reach and meet felt needs around the world!
