STL is a national organization that partners with missionaries around the world to provide them with needed resources to transport and communicate the Gospel around the world!
Since 1944 Speed the Light has propelled the Gospel globally.
The foundation of STL was out of a youth pastor's vision. Students over the years have seen and met the needs of missionaries by raising over $300 million to fund much-needed missionary equipment. Journey Youth has become a leader in the movement of students. Our students take this mission seriously and find new and creative ways to be generous all year long! Momentous Events
Youth Convention
Every year over in October over MEA weekend students from around Minnesota gather in Rochester to worship God and vision together for STL. This is an event that students always remember and grow a lot from! Registration usually comes out around back-to-school season and can be found on Journey's Homepage.
Big Give Night
This is our final push after convention for STL giving. Students can't wait for this night and always are eagerly waiting to give that last miracle amount! This year it will happen on November 15th, 2023.
